I got too close to a brave calf yesterday (almost close enough to touch it), and the momma looked at me like she was going to have an issue with it. I backed off and took the long way around.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone here, but your assertion of bwhnter's mental deficiencies lost some of its bite when you didn't use "you're" before calling him an idiot. Let a person have an opinion even if it is out of touch, which it was because a camp is an inanimate object that doesn't move towards anyone, without resorting to insults.

This fall, in the middle of the night, out with my kids for youth hunt we had a range bull get in a fight with a group of smaller bulls in our camp and around our trailer and truck. It was insane, and one of the most terrifying things my kids have experienced. Seriously angry beef having beef, bumping into things, and running into each other with serious force. I opened the door to the trailer and that big bull looked at me like I was next. We weren't attacked, but it got pretty dangerous, in my opinion, with three kids getting jostled and equipment getting bumped around.

Sorry, for the mistake….sometimes my I phone changes things and I don’t notice before hitting post.
Having run into both a Huge bull and a Grizzly on my ATV. The bull scared me more that range bull was huge and hard to read .

I was honestly not expecting this many replies. Thanks to everyone who has contributed their stories to this thread.
Coming back after hunting the other night there were 3 cows (i think young steers) in the middle of the road. I slowed to a crawl and 2 of them reluctantly mosied off to the side of the road.
The one facing me didn't move! I moved (SLOWLY) up to about 2' away from him and still nothing. He just stood there in the headlights.
When I beeped the horn - he awoke rather suddenly! I didn't realize he was asleep!
It was the funniest damn thing to see.
