A lot of Black Bears in the area. Haven't seen any Grizz in the area, but that doesn't mean they're not around.

Gigity gigity!!! Cold weather is music to my ears Machinist!!! And Bigdoggdon, if there isn't a huge Griz problem, then I'm pumped! We'll still be cautious and do out due diligence but it's nice to hear.

We leave early Thursday morning. Has anybody spotted any bulls in the area??? And also, equally important, can anyone suggest a good pub in the area in case we need a break halfway through? Thank you for all the help you've already given us.
    Cheers.

Make sure you have your Mulie tags. We have taken some good bucks in that area over the years. Have t been there for some time, but I'm sure there are still a few around.

You’re crazy if you stop in PG at a pub with your hunting rig fully loaded. Just saying…

and you are going to be in northern BC, there’s grizzlys. Don’t worry to much about it, if they want to attack they’re going to attack. You’re likely to have many run ins with bears in that area. I lived there for many years , never seen so many bears.

We have Whitey, Muley, and Moose tags ready to go! Lots of bears, dully noted RackStar! Are you hinting that PG can be a pretty shady place? In that case, we'll steer clear.

There’s multiple teams of thieves that target hunting rigs , broad daylight too. It’s a main hub to stop for hunters heading north , east or west. Stick to fast food, drink your beer when you get to camp. Do a quick search on here you’ll see what I’m talking about.

have all your goodies so the only thing you do is get fuel, or have one person stay in the truck.

Many a nice 6 point bull elk comes out of 7-10 every year! Good population of elk in around the woodpecker, right down to the Blackwater River, along the Fraser River escarpment!! moosin
