Snow check north of PG

Took a drive into 7-23 this morning. It is still full on winter up there. Road plowed to the old Anzac camp and that is it. Still 3+feet of snow on roads not plowed. Could still ice fish on Tacheeda Lakes if you wanted. Looks like another 3 weeks until I can get in there and get my grizz.

Dont tell me that!!! Headed up to Williston in 10 days and was hoping that with the recent warm weather the snow would be melting a bit faster!!!

bring your snow shoes lol. in the same boat with my 7-17 tag, people were still sledding in there from the start of the mainline last weekend.

Yep, been watching weather all up in that country for about the past month and a half haha. I think this hot weather and some rain would be nice for a day or two!

when i had a grizz tag in 7-23 D I couldnt get in untill June 1st ish ..

you may be able to get in before that ... but dont count on it

You will be able to get in just thron snow shoes and a back pack and walk in make sure u bring gear to stay a few nights

Was in 7-23 yesterday. Had to abort the mission, still 20 km from grizz hunting area. Long snowshoe trip!! I figure first week of June for access! Or take a sled! Snow still has frost in the am, but pretty rotten by noon!

sled would be easy but i just read the regs and they wont let us use sleds in there. Was going to quad the tracks but those sharp rocks would wrip my tires apart and wouldnt want to meet a train either.
