I know you "can". But I don't know if you can right now... So I'm not really any help!

Last I heard it was closed or not passable with a 4x4. Not 100% sure though.

I was reading on quads.ca the other day that it was clear up to sloquet at least.

I was up there 3 weeks ago heading in from Harrison I could only make it to th 51 km marker then there was to much snow.

Yep the snow is still thick right before the steep hill at the north end. If you go down that hill you will not be getting out. It hasn't rained enough this year, like the past two years the snow was all gone by this time.

Don't know, I didn't go down the hill.

I think a live version of Google Earth would be a great tool

Right now with snow and runoff might not be a good idea, maybe Gordie knows?

hmm..not sure they go 'that' far?...Paul is wanting to take a motor bike for the 'tour' but as well has some meeting er something through Harrison somewhere so he 'has to' make it.

If he *has* to make it I'd be skeptical right now.
Appartently there are two truck sized boulders blocking the west side, somewhere between 55-65km mark. Got this info back in february from my boss who attempted it. couldn't get a 150 between them, but said a smaller 4x4 could probably make the squeeze.

My buddy went to Sloquet springs last weekend, came in from the Pemberton end with no problem. Apparently some loggers removed the boulders fairly recently so it should be doable.

Just texted Gord, its open. Says it would be a bit shitty for about 15k in a 4x4 but its doable. Quad or bike no problem.

I'm assuming you went the harrison route? did you go via truck or atv/dirtbike? and how much snow is still there? im planning on going via dirt bike so there needs to be pretty much no snow...
