700 road behind Bear Lake ???

Anyone been out behind bear lake, l have a grizzly draw for 7-23c, need some advice.

I heard there was still some sledding going on but don't know that for sure. Wish you the best though.

drove out there today can get to 28 km were they logged it will be a couple weeks before you can get to the back end

We didnt get past 38-40 km in the middle of June last year.

I have same draw. Last year many places were flooded end of May. I think this year will be the same.

Man, if you could in some way get to the back, the grizz hunting right now would be fantastic!! Got a mountain bike? Follow the rail tracks back in there. Just watch for the trains. The tracks will be snow free, and then you will see the grizz which come down for the dead critters on the track from the winter. Otherwise it will be a wait and see, and you will be hunting with everyone else too! Good luck! Last year we were in there the first week of june and it was WET!!! Tough hunt, easy odds!! Moosin

Dawg your thinking of Zone D, though there is a small area of C you can access from the 700rd and yes it will be snowed in still, unless the Guide outfitter plowed it through?? Moosin

I think some of my Bear Lake buddies are going to try and get to Arctic Lake this weekend, i'll let you know if it works out
