ROEBUCK
11-26-2011, 11:08 AM
My season started off with a unsuccessfull elk hunt with a friend from the old country.Although i did get a consulation whitetail spiker in the koots.Which i shot with my .375 and 250gr ttsx, minimal meat damage and small exit hole.
It got better at the end of october with my 5x4 mulie which was chasing a group of does in a area id been hunting with lots of fresh sighn.
He was shot with my 7.08 and a ttsx bullet.Very pleased with the ttsx.Iam very happy with this buck as it was a new area i was hunting.
I headed back to the okanagan to try to find a whitey buck 2 days a go for a 4 day hunt, but I was home with a deer in 1 day :-D.
I arived in my area and found fresh tracks straight away and decided to set up camp close by ,on my way back to the truck at 10am this 5x5 went straight by me chasing does and fell to my .375hh with ttsx.with a quartering shot and dropped in its tracks again minimal meat damage. So i was back home in langley that same day.
So my big game rifles are now cleaned and locked away til the spring and to the range 2mrow to get my .243 ready for predators.Ilove it when the season changes
cheers dan.
