View Full Version : Christian valley area.?

Since we have an antler less season going on we figured on going for some top less whiteys, I imagine many are being taken. I have not been there since september, and We were planning on going there for Antlerless white tails next week. How is it going? did you guys had success in the area. My dad's friends were out in Region 8 last week and every one in the group got a deer for themselve, scored 6 does and 1 buck!! Lucky fellas.

We saw 25 sketchy whitetails in 2 days, quite a few does with triplets, I don't think last years antlerless season made a dent besides making them faster.

Not true...I personally know nine healthy does still running around and one three by three feeling skitish

Came back from there yesterday. Lot of does for sure. Didn't see a single buck all weekend. My dad and I both got whitetail does. So much private land up there. Stay away from Fiva FSR. I don't know if it's just that I stink, but that place was absolutely dead; not so much as a grouse. We hunted the Christian Valley FSR and explored some of the little roads branching off of there. The deer are moving ALL the time, not just the mornings and evenings. Be patient with clearcuts. Saw a lot of does in them. Good luck.....
