Looking at heading back up that way for moose this year. It's been a few years since I've hunted up there and I wondering if any one would part with some knowledge? :)
Last time I was up they were starting to deactivate the upper Burnt, but what up these days? Have they been logging/ exploring new stuff or just retracting the roads? The area I'm thinking of is about 80 klicks up the Sukunka (once you leave the highway) and turn off by an old airstrip(?). Is this area still worth going into or should a guy focus elsewhere? Hunting with lads who are not afraid to get out of the truck and walk. :)
