Bear Hunting VIDEO

The melt is 1 month+ late here. Finally made it out a couple times for bears this week. Proguide inspired me, so I broke out the new Gopro video cam... I'm just learnin' to edit.

After several miles on foot I finally found the right elevation - 3 cinnamons & 3 blacks & the dating game was on! Also saw a coyote & blackie scrappin' but it was on the Gopro & was too dark & far. Closed the gap into bow range on 3 of them...

Any guestimates on size?

I'll try to post a few more clips in this thread if I get out again.

Thanks! I took the kids out with me the 2nd time - they were pretty excited. You can see my 3 yr. old on the bike in the snow in the clip. He's gonna be a hunter! I'm debating about going back with my bow...

Dont need the meat & they are entertaining to watch. Before kids I used to see ~50 bears in a year...

Hermit - who is Lady Gaga? I guess pics can be deceiving. The biggest bear is the last 1. He is much longer than the other 2, which is why he doesn't look as fat. I think he'd be close to 6' ON the animal, but there's only 1 way to find out... :D

Went out again tonight... Found the solid black boar (big shoulders, creased forehead) from the first video (it was on the edge of the darkness). That light cinnamon must be his fat gf - she's rubbed a bit now. I didn't have a rifle tonight & he bluff charged me at ~20 yards & mowed down some shrubs - I almost dropped the camera. :-D He lays down to eat & has got some attitude... funny to watch.
