The lynx that has been hanging around my trail cam all winter showed up again. There's a bit of a surprise ending this time though.

Nice video. The first, going by the behaviour, is definitely in heat. So the second lynx could be a male waiting at a safe distance until the female is good and ready. If he approaches to early to close he will get a good beating and possibly a bloody nose.

that's really awesome. They are such cool creatures. My stepdad trapped a few before, their coats are so soft. I was never allowed to have one because 10 (or more?) ago they were worth quite a bit. Not sure what fur prices are like anymore?
