hi wanted to go with family but couldnt. wanted to know turn out ,biggest fish, overall success. hoping to try next year again. would young kids have a good chance of catching fish and also can u find accommidations in merritt thanx wildman 22

Lots of hotels in Merritt and lots of rooms this time of year. Young kids stand a chance there. Just remember, you can't catch anything unless you have a line in the water.

this year we had lots of less people then we have had in years past but it was still successful. lots of fish got even with less people there there was more fish weighed in. with the biggest couse fish bein a 3 way tie at 3 pounds 15 ounces and the biggest adult trout was 3 pounds 5 ounces and a tie for second at 2 pounds 15 ounces. yes every one stands a chance out there like doubled said u cant catch anything unless u have a line in the water. if u want something fun for the kids to do come to our family fish day on fathers day, its held at the kids pound at kentucky lake the kids have a place and always catch there fish. Lots of hotels an motels in merritt.
