rut question

when does the rut usually start around kamloops and do whiteys and mulies generally start around the same time?

Jelvish says Oct 23 for mule deer, and am a believer after what I saw this week, whitetail deer are more nov 11th ish, just my two cents, hope this helps

ok so i would have to assume that the southern end of region 5 would be the same. i know i said kamloops but i wasnt thinking, i already got a region 3 buck and im not too sure where to start looking for whiteys.

Agreed with Oct 23ish for Mulies in your area. Was in 3-19 this pass weekend and the bucks starts to round up the does and started stinking...

For BIG mulies.... my preference is November 10 to 18 (or as short as Nov 15)....I like to still hunt!:-D
