Deer Hunting around Merrit

I was thinking about hunting 3-12,3-13 or 8-5,8-6.Any hints on a round about good area.Maybe camp at Davis Lake or over to Buck lake.We have Quads to move around on.I have seen mule deer in that area,but are there any whitetails ??Just trying something different this year.

I wouldnt go to davis lake for a hunt. camped there a bit this summer and it was a gong show of people and quads everywhere. have to be a pretty dumb deer to call that home.
