LEH Buffalo

Was there a problem about access to one of the LEH area for buffalo in the past? I seem to recall some First Nations issue? Thanks, I don't want to apply for an area I might not be able to get to , if by some major miracle I actually got a LEH tag:smile:

I have hunted the halfway valley for buffalo a couple of times with no problems. The natives were easy to deal with, they charged us a one time 175.00 fee to cross their land and 65.00 a night to use their cabins. They only charge 65.00 to the tag holder, not everyone in the party. Quite resonable I thought.

Most of the area on the Sikkani that holds buffalo is past the no vehicle zone and access is limited to ATV or snowmobile and walking but it's 20 k to where most of them live.
