Funny thing - I was driving North out of Whitehorse quite a few years ago in the winter with a friend and commented on similar road signs with the image of an elk on them. I suggested the Yukon should have a more representative animal on their signs and then within a couple of minutes there were five 350 ish bull elk lying next to the road. Little did I know…
