this is my first year of not even seeing a buck in the bush
came home last weekend and there were 2 little 2points in my neibours yard
go figure my frustration.

Just got home from what was supposed to be a 4 day mule deer back pack hunt. Whitetails felt left out and didnt give me a chance to set up a tent before this buck presented himself at 400 yards.

Congrats on a great buck.

Any tips for late season backpacking trips? Have you done it before? Would be interested to hear what you've learned.

I've recently gotten into more backcountry hunting but have yet to do it during late season.
