Here's a question regarding the regulations on bull moose. If one has an shared any bull moose draw (2 tags, 4 people hunting) for an area during a general open season for spike fork bulls and one of the members of the LEH group draw harvest a spike fork bull, do they need to cancel their LEH tag or is cancelling just their moose tag sufficient? As far as I can tell you're fine to cut just your moose tag, leaving 2 LEH tags open for the remaining 3 hunters of the group.
Can anyone find anything that states otherwise?
Thanks

The hunter that took the spike can cancel their tag and do not have to cancel the LEH

Any Bull harvested in a General Open Season does not count towards your LEH. The remaining 3 hunters can still harvest 2 Bulls

Thanks! I'm glad only supporting comments were posted! I believe what you both said to be true based on my reading of the regulations.
Cheers

100 percent correct its helpful aswell as you dont have to check for kickers...eg higher odds off getting a bonus bull.

Yeah that's true! I've never hunted a bull moose draw before so it's pretty exciting! Hopefully add some nice meat to the freezer!
