Hey folks,
I have an any bull draw Oct.1-14 in 5-13A. Never hunted moose or been to the area and I am stoked! We leave next wed and are staying till we get the job done or the season ends. I have already got some intel from folks who have hunted the area in the past.I just wondering if anyone else has anything else to offer or maybe had the draw this month?
Thanks again!

Rut is underway so find cows and stay on them. Bulls won't be too far away this time of year. Familiarize yourself with calls , both cow and bull come in handy and work well to bring them out. Glass timber lines well. Despite their size moose blend in very well especially in old burns. Good luck with the hunt !

Be patient when calling, bulls can take a few hours to come in. Re-check places you called from on your way out or back through. I like to spray a little coe moose urine where I have called and then check back later. Happy hunting!

It's better to cover yourself with the cow urine that way they will follow you to the truck. Makes for easy pack out.

I like the close to the road idea.
