Well after several years of not taking a bear I finally weakened and decided to fill the freezer.
We'll some people know the size, but lets hear some guesses.
Length? Skull?

Thats a good looking Bear
Good porker:smile:
He's a good size. Lots of sausage8)
Kirby,
Great Archery Bear!!! Congrats!!! As for size, you do know one pic is not sufficient right??? Especially when it is only headon. :) I've seen a ton of big bears on the ground. Breaking the 19 inch mark is tuff in the Southern Interior as many many bears turn out to be meat heads. Sooo, my guess on the skull size is anywhere between 18 and 19.

Good one Kirby. Like I tell the wife 'Size doesn't matter'. Is there a good story, or just make one up. Bow-bears must be a hoot ?

who ever said 5'10" had the right size dont remember what kirby said the skull when  Other then not big enough for me  Kirby you must have been starving to shoot that rat, remember a few years back when we would not chase that monster blackie cause it interfeered with our nice sunny day sitting in the back of the ford glassing

Right on!!! Looks like a GREAT bear with a bow! Did he go Tasmanian on the arrow? I almost sh!t my pants when mine did... He looks ~6' on the animal and ~19". Congrats hombre! 8)

Did he go Tasmanian on the arrow?
He definatly went at his side pretty hard. Spun around on his hind leg for a second or two biting himself before making tracks. He was the first bear that ever went for the wound, usually I find they just boot it for cover.
