View Full Version : My First Double
lone wolf

Been in an area where wolves are present , been doing a lot of e-caller sets in the morning . No wolves but today after about 7 mins I hear a bark yip , coyote coming in about 125 yrd in the trees by the sound out to my left I am thinking about dropping the volume to draw it out , but all of a sudden I hear a thumping right beside me , another coyote came from behind me and ran by me about 30 ft away . Runs past the caller and hooks back to about 10 ft away from it and barks at it , then put the cross hairs on him and bang , watched him flop over in the scope , then another one from behind me barking . I swing around in the seated position and reset my sticks and put the cross hairs on him but a little brush in way , my movements must have made him curious and jumps up onto this big rock , big mistake lol . Another one catches the corner of my eye as this one flops off the rock but heads over a knoll and hits the timber only to stop and start barking , changed the sound sequence and he just did not want to come out and play , I wonder if one will ever run smack into me . Both males

And should mention, very tastefully done on the pictures. No need to show gaping holes and lots of blood. Super picture
