Was there yesterday chukar hunting.....am pretty sure i heard them butting heads in the distance.
Great shots BTW Dana. I only managed a few shots of the yews. Could see the rams way up top.

Great pics, Dana! I'm hoping to photograph some of our local sheep tomorrow and then find some of the Kamloops herd on the weekend. It's sure fun watching them during the rut. Looks like a couple of those big boys have really broomed their horns this year.

Nice pics! I saw all those sheep about a week ago all down low in a herd of about 70. Counted 6 or 7 mature rams.

No doubt Dana, coach and few other guys will have a wildlife photography collection worth mentioning in their wills.

I only spent maybe 20 mins with them yesterday. Was hoping for some head butting but only saw a ton of chasing and posturing. Was very hard to take any decent pictures because they were running and chasing so much. That many ewes with that many rams was Complete Chaos. The broke up ram was a fighter last year too. He had one broke tip that was just a couple of shards for most of the winter and spring. Now the break at the top he will be lucky if he keeps that horn. Although I have see a couple other rams with breaks just as bad stay intact for several years. It was good to see 'What If?' again. He was the largest mature ram that was a common sight this past winter. Good to see he still is keeping up with the young rams and rutting hard.
