Not much for logging activity so the roads are getting old and washed out. Some big moose in that country, had the draw last year and was lucky enough to get one but saw more wolves than moose.

Ya she's thick country in there with no logging in many years. Buddys father in law got a 54 inch bull off Kitchi Creek 2 years ago working swamps and wetlands.Try Walker FSR.You gotta jet boat your sittin pretty?

I ll give you a good spot. Camp for a week you ll get a bull but you ll be really working to get him out of a swamp. Thick stuff but they re there. No cut block hunting so if it's not what you re looking for you ll be easily discouraged. Quad will help. Even a treestand.

You have probably looked on the maps to see there are 2 roads into the area. Camps can be tough to find as the bush is so thick its hard to get off the road. The map will show a forestry camp up past pass lake on that road, right on the river. The road is rough, pothole wise. If you aren't road hunting the bush is thick. Make sure you have a backpack to get your taken apart moose out. Pretty country.

The bush is so thick deer are hard to see. I have been in there for 6 years and seen 2 whitey does.
